Orthographic Drawing Workshop

SUTDio held a 2-hour workshop to introduce students to create orthographic drawings by hand with pencil and paper. The first half of the workshop consisted of practicing drawing lines free hand and with a ruler, before learning to draw the top, front and side profile of an object. Then, participants drew more complex objects and created an exploded isometric drawing with pencil and paper.

Through this short workshop, SUTDio hopes the participants will glean more insight into orthographic drawings of objects and understand how to represent designs with hand drawn visuals.
