Architecture Modelling and Composition Series

SUTDio finally launched its ASD Initiative 1.0, a 3-part series workshop, the Architecture Modeling and Composition Series! This 3-part series aims to share what architecture is about and expose students to hands-on modelling. The students were grouped together to work on a wooden cabin project, guided along by SUTDio's EXCO.

Architectural concepts were shared with the students during each session for them to glean an insight into how architects in practice work in the field. The first session focused on modelling with balsa wood, the perfect material for first-timers to work with as they dabble into model making! The second session focused on terrain modelling and last but not least, the last session focused on composition as well as photography.
